The beautiful community of Argaka, which is built between the mountain and the sea, is one of the Communities of the Pafos District whose tourism flourishes.

The natural beauty and excellent location of Argaka constitute the main reasons of this tourist development. Argaka is located in the middle of a pine forest and a gorgeous beach, while the housing core is surrounded by fruit gardens which spread on the foothills of the mountain and end on the coast. In fact, several luxurious villas have been built on some of these pieces of land.

The diligence of the residents and the traditional hospitality which characterises them are two other important reasons why Argaka’s tourist industry is developing. The president of the community distinctively mentions that in Argaka operate family tourist businesses which are staffed with qualified employees possessing the innate sense of the Cypriot hospitality and service.

Additionally, efficient and regular ran sport in Argaka allows visitors to visit Polis Chrysochous and do theirs hopping in one of the plenty shops and supermarkets of the town, as Argaka is located approximately as even-minute drive away from Polis Chrysochous. Argaka is al solocated very near the pictures que harbour of Latsi, which is located only a fifteen-minute drive away from the village.

Moreover, Argaka is adjacent to the location “Limni” where the N. Shacolas Group is planning to construct the “Limni Golf Resort” which will include some of the best golf courses worldwide, a marina, mansions and a hotel.

The development of the tourist industry in Argaka is also boosted by the improvement of the water supply network and the cleanliness of the village and its beach, which constitute a constant concern of the Community Council. Finally, it is worth noting that the Community Council directly supports all business operating in Argaka and also promotes the establishment of new businesses, this way encouraging the youth to remain in the Community.
